Missions is to help people know Jesus Christ and allow His Power to transform their lives.
The major emphasis is to share the love of Jesus with the whole world. This is accomplished in part with our support of both foreign and domestic missionaries, as well as working with teams on evangelistic and construction projects. Missions gives the congregation an opportunity to be enlightened, challenged, inspired and involved in changing the world.
Here's How you can get involved:
PRAY: Praying allows for all age groups to be involved, supporting and serving our missionaries and teams.
GIVE: Supplying our missionaries and teams with the resources to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
GO: As you are led and able, respond to the opportunities that are available to serve.
Our goal is to...
... Advance the Gospel and play our part in the harvest of souls
... Involve as many as are willing to participate
... Participate in both Jesus' command to reach the whole world (foreign and domestic)
... and Receive the Holy Spirit's power to accomplish this task (Acts 1:8).
The promise to the New Testament Church is still valid today. The message proclaims salvation by grace through faith. The early church leaders were compelled by the Holy Spirit to obey the Lord's command to
"Go into all the world and preach the gospel," (Mark 16:15).
